General Terms and Conditions

Alpha Autoglass

Effective Date: 02/01/2026

These Terms & Conditions govern all services performed by Alpha AutoGlass. By scheduling or authorizing service, the customer agrees to the following terms.


1. Services

Alpha AutoGlass provides mobile auto glass repair, replacement, and related services. Services are performed at the customer’s requested location. The customer is responsible for providing a safe and accessible work area.

Alpha AutoGlass reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe or if pre-existing vehicle damage prevents proper installation.


2. Estimates & Payment

  • All estimates are based on information provided at the time of booking. Final pricing may vary if additional damage or required parts are discovered during service.

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Card, Personal Check.

  • For insurance claims, the customer is responsible for any deductible or balance not covered by insurance.

  • Deposits, if collected, are non-refundable if cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered.


3. Workmanship Warranty (Alpha Shield Workmanship Warranty)

Alpha AutoGlass provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on installations performed by our technicians for as long as the original customer owns the serviced vehicle.

Covered:

  • Water leaks resulting from improper sealing

  • Air intrusion caused by improper installation

  • Adhesive or bonding failure

  • Improperly secured or set glass

  • Manufacturer defects in glass or installation materials

If an issue is determined to be installation-related, Alpha Autoglass will repair the defect at no additional charge.

Not Covered:

  • Rock chips, cracks, or damage occurring after installation

  • Normal road or vehicle noise not caused by seal failure

  • Accidents, collisions, vandalism, theft, or acts of nature

  • Pre-existing rust, corrosion, structural or body damage

  • Stress cracks caused by vehicle design or prior damage

  • Reused moldings, clips, or components at customer request

  • ADAS or sensor malfunctions not directly caused by installation

  • All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.


4. Chip Happens Coverage – 1-Year Rock Chip Protection

Chip Happens Coverage is an optional, paid add-on that provides rock chip protection for a period of one (1) year from the original windshield installation date.

Coverage Includes

  • Unlimited rock chip repairs during the coverage period for damage deemed repairable according to industry repair standards.

  • Repairs must be performed by Alpha Autoglass.

  • Coverage applies only to the windshield installed by Alpha Autoglass on the originally serviced vehicle.

Replacement Credit

If windshield damage exceeds repairable limits and a replacement is required, the customer may apply a $75 credit toward a windshield replacement performed by Alpha Autoglass.

  • The replacement credit is limited to one use per coverage period.

  • The credit has no cash value and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Continued Coverage After Replacement

If a windshield replacement is performed using the Chip Happens Coverage replacement credit:

  • Chip Happens Coverage will continue to apply to the newly installed windshield for the remainder of the original 12-month coverage period.

  • Unlimited chip repairs remain included during the remaining coverage period.

  • The replacement credit will be considered used and will no longer be available during the remainder of the coverage term.

Customers may purchase a new Chip Happens Coverage plan at the time of replacement if they wish to receive a new replacement credit for the newly installed windshield.

Not Covered

Chip Happens Coverage does not apply to:

  • Damage exceeding repairable limits where replacement is declined

  • Damage caused by accidents, collisions, vandalism, or theft

  • Chips on glass not installed by Alpha Autoglass

  • Damage to side, rear, or quarter glass

  • Pre-existing chips or cracks present prior to installation

  • Damage resulting from vehicle structural issues, rust, or prior repairs

Coverage Conditions

  • Coverage is valid for one (1) year from the original installation date.

  • Coverage applies only to the original vehicle and windshield installed by Alpha Autoglass.

  • All repairs must meet industry repair safety standards and are subject to technician inspection and approval.

  • Alpha Autoglass reserves the right to deny coverage for damage that falls outside repairable limits or coverage terms.


5. ADAS & Calibration Disclaimer

Some vehicles require Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) recalibration after windshield replacement.

If calibration is required, it will be recommended. If the customer declines recommended calibration, Alpha Autoglass is not responsible for system malfunctions, warning lights, or safety system performance.

Alpha AutoGlass is not responsible for pre-existing sensor, camera, or electronic system issues.


6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha AutoGlass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of vehicle use

  • Loss of income

  • Rental vehicle costs

  • Towing expenses

  • Additional repair costs not directly related to defective installation

Total liability shall not exceed the original amount paid for the service performed.

7. Warranty Claim Procedure

All claims must:

  • Be reported promptly upon discovery

  • Include proof of original service

  • Allow Alpha AutoGlass the opportunity to inspect the vehicle

  • Unauthorized third-party repairs may void warranty coverage.

  • Warranty coverage is non-transferable.


8. Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled after materials have been ordered or within 24 hours of service may be subject to a cancellation fee.


9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any disputes shall be resolved within the State of New Mexico.


10. Modifications

Alpha AutoGlass reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will apply prospectively and will not affect services previously completed.


Non-Transferability

Chip Happens Coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and vehicle associated with the original installation performed by Alpha Autoglass.

Coverage cannot be transferred to another vehicle, owner, or insurance claim.

Warranty Terms

•Adhesive or bonding failure

•Improperly secured or set glass

•Manufacturer defects in glass or installation materials


If a defect is determined to be installation-related, Alpha AutoGlass will repair the issue at no additional charge.

•Accidents, collisions, vandalism, theft, or acts of nature

Not Covered:

•Multiple chips or damage after the first claim has been used

•Cracks extending beyond repairable limits

•Damage resulting from accidents, collisions, or vandalism

•Damage to glass other than the windshield

•Pre-existing glass damage


Alpha Autoglass reserves the right to inspect all damage prior to approving coverage.


3. General Warranty Conditions

• Proof of original service is required for all claims.

•Warranty coverage is non-transferable.

• Warranty does not extend to unrelated vehicle components.


Alpha AutoGlass reserves the right to deny claims that fall outside the scope of coverage.


4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha AutoGlass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the installation, repair, or replacement of auto glass, including but not limited to loss of vehicle use, loss of income, towing expenses, or additional repair costs not directly related to defective installation.


Alpha AutoGlass’s total liability under any warranty claim shall not exceed the original amount paid for the service performed.


5. Warranty Claim Procedure

All warranty claims must:

- Be reported promptly upon discovery of the issue

- Include proof of original service

- Allow Alpha AutoGlass the opportunity to inspect the vehicle prior to repair


Unauthorized repairs performed by third parties may void warranty coverage.


6. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and all warranty provisions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any disputes arising from services provided by Alpha AutoGlass shall be resolved within the State of New Mexico.


7. Modification of Terms

Alpha AutoGlass reserves the right to update or modify warranty terms at any time. Any changes will apply prospectively and will not affect services previously performed.
